Questo grande paesaggio animato, che necessiterebbe di un expertize accurato vista la qualità dell'opera, si può comunque accostare ai lavori di Gaspard Doughet, nato a Roma nel 1615, e morto nella capitale nel 1675, noto comunemente come Garpard (o Gaspare) POUSSIN , dal suo maestro e cognato Nicolas Poussin .
